Ingredients of Cold Salad

  • 250 Gram paneer
  • 1 Corn (parboiled)
  • 1 Potato with skin (parboiled)
  • 1 Apple, sliced
  • 2 Onion, julienne
  • 2 Red peppers, julienne
  • 2 Red chillies
  • 1 Radish (finely diced)
  • 2 Green chilies, chopped
  • 4 Spring onions, chopped
  • 10 Green olives (pitted), chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt (to flavour)

For the dressing:

  • 4 tbsp red wine
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 lemon (squeezed)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Making a Cold Salad
1. Heat the frying pan and brown the chopped onions and red pepper, seasoning with salt.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the radish, apple, boiling potatoes, paneer, and corn.
3. Add the green chillies, spring onions, and green olives.
4. Salt, black pepper powder, and extra virgin olive oil to taste, and blend thoroughly.

To make the dressing, follow these steps:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the red wine, salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, lemon juice, honey, and extra virgin olive oil.
2. Toss the salad with the dressing and serve.
