Jhandewalan Mandir all decked up for Navratras

After almost two years of restricted celebrations, the season of religious festivals is back in full swing. The Jhandewalan Mata Mandir, located in the central Delhi, is all decked up to host thousands of devotees to celebrate the auspicious Navratras. Arrangements such as barricades and Police are in place to ensure safety of the devotees. Traffic on the Rani Jhansi Road, especially during the peak hours is a byproduct of the huge footfall at the temple.

Devotees can be seen carrying vermillion and other offerings while visiting the temple. Makeshift stalls have been set up from where the devotees can buy knick-knacks and other necessities. In the evening, the temple brightens up with beautiful fairy lights and the Rani Jhansi Road is also adorned with colourful lights and bulbs.
