Noida: It is an enthralling time at Golf City in Sector-75 as AOA elections are being held here for the first time. The elections have started today May 22, 2022. Voting started at 8:30 am and will go on till 4:30 pm. As gathered, the results will be declared by 7pm tonight.
DD RWA has appointed two observers at the request of the Election Officer to maintain transparency in the elections. 639 voters out of 700 residents are enlisted to vote. A total of 15 candidates are trying their luck for various posts in the election. Out of this, 9 posts are for executive members. The builder will nominate an officer for one post.
Krishna M Singh, Election Officer says, "For the first time in the society, AOA elections are being held. Residents are excited about this. I am sure everyone will participate."
Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Vice President of DD RWA says, “Rajiv Kumar (Consultant) DDRWA and Anil Khanna (Vice President) DDRWA have been appointed as observers. Both these observers will assist the Election Officer in conducting the election as per the rules and regulations."
