Greater Noida Authority fines Devika Gold Homz rupees 40,800

Greater Noida: On July 8, 2022, the Greater Noida Authority officials visited the Devika Gold Homz, Sector 1, GreNo and imposed a fine of rupees 40,800 on account of poor maintenance of the society. On inspecting the basement of the society, the officials found that basement was turned into a dumpyard.

On Thursday, July 7, 2022, the residents tweeted to the Greater Noida Authority complaining about the issue. The authority took quick action and officials Sanjeev Badhoriya and Mudit Tyagi reached the spot the same day.

The residents informed that the society is maintained by Imagitach Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and even after repeated complaints about ill maintenance of the society, nothing was done to solve their issues.

Devika Social Welfare Society President Anurag Khare informs us that the builder has divided the society premises into two parts. The part with connectivity to the main road has been allegedly sold to another builder. Due to this, the residents of this society have to travel one and a half kilometers more to reach their homes. He says, "Due to these inconveniences, both time and fuel are wasted."

He further mentions that the builder is not clarifying whether the society will be given connectivity to the main road in the future or not.

According to Himanshu Saxena, a resident of the society, the builder has been unable to meet the basic amenities. Thus, the home buyers have stopped paying maintenance charges. The buyers demand the maintenance team to improve the amenities.

The residents complain that the builder and its maintenance company do not give any response to several complaints of the buyers regarding long power cuts, limited water supply, and piles of garbage in the basement.

Anand, a resident of the same society, says, "The maintenance agency of the builder should work to provide security in the society. Lifts here are non-funtioning. The generator and electrical panels are also in bad condition."
