GreNo West: Illegal casino busted in Saya Zion society

GreNo West: A case of an alleged illegal casino running in Greater Noida West's Saya Zion Society has come to light. Bisrakh Police in Greater Noida West raided the housing society on July 7, 2022 and arrested nine people including four girls from the premises of the housing society residential flat. The police have recovered playing cards, play coins and other items from the casino.

According to Sumit Kumar, Senior Inspector, Police Station, Bisrakh, District Gautam Budh Nagar, "This business of casinos was being run rampantly in the residential society of Saya Zion. When we got the information and raided society, there was panic among the residents. In charge of the Bisrakh police station received the lead."

Police have arrested the operators of this illegal casino under section M.O. 423/22 Section 3/4 Gambling Act. The police are investigating the matter further.
