GreNo West: Residents protest against Ajnara builder

Noida: On the morning of June 26, 2022, more than 100 distressed residents of Ajnara Le Garden and Ajnara Homes demonstrated a protest against Ajnara builder at Ek murti circle in Greater Noida West. They raised slogans against RERA, authority and administration.

Residents say that they are troubled with innumerable maintenance issues and the builder is not doing anything about it. Waterlogging in the basement, poor security and hike in maintenance charges are among the major issues the residents are facing. They tell us thar they have been protesting for 85 days and nothing seems to come out of it. 

A resident, on condition of anonymity says, "The builder has looted crores of rupees from the residents in the name of convenience, but where are all the facilities?"

Residents are requesting the authorities to pay heed to their issues. A resident says, "There is no point of having RERA if the builder can't be held responsible. Who will look into the matter where the officials gave OC without on-site investigation?" 

The maintenance team of Ajnara homes and Ajnara Le Garden says that they are trying to fix a meeting between the buyers and the builder but that day hasn't come yet.
