Delhi: With the heat crossing all records in Delhi NCR, the occurrence of rain has become a joyous occasion for city folks. And July 20, 2022, become one such occasion as heavy rainfall graced various parts of Delhi NCR including Connaught Place, East of Kailash, Dwarka, Najafgarh, Rohini, Gurugram, and Noida.
The maximum temperature is down at 29 degrees celsius at 4:30 pm and the air quality with AQI is in the satisfactory range according to Central Pollution Control Board.
The Indian Meteorological Department issued a yellow rain alert for Delhi-NCR on July 20, 2022, warning commuters of traffic congestion and waterlogging in low-lying areas.
Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisories for commuters informing about congestion at Kapashera Chowk, Najafgarh Road towards Tooda Mandi and the carriageway from Dwarka Mor towards Uttam Nagar.

According to IMD, for the next five days, Delhi will witness light to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms till July 25, 2022. The weather department also tweeted about minor road traffic and the condition of water logging.
