House of the Dragon trailer is out, who'll ascend the iron throne?

Majestic and massive dragons breathing fire, a grand kingdom, the infamous Targaryens conspiring against each other to ascend the iron throne, all of this and more is what the upcoming 'House of the Dragon' has to offer. At least that's what we expect from the looks of the newly released trailer of the show.

The upcoming HBO series takes us somewhere around three hundred years back from the events of Game of Thrones, to a time when the house of Targareyens ruled everything. We get back to a Westeros with the silverhead Targareyens sitting on the iron throne. However, as the question of who'd ascend the iron throne next arises, it ignites the impending civil war of the house Targareyen, eventually leading to its downfall.

As far as the production quality goes, the makers have not left any stone unturned. From beautiful and carefully crafted costumes to the frightening dragons, everything seems just perfect, much like the show's predecessor. From the trailer, it is also evident that dirty politics and royal conspiracies have made their way into this show as well. However, will 'House of the dragon' matches up to the magic of the original 'Game of thrones' is still in question.

Apart from beautiful productions and CGI, it was the conspiracies, greed for power and revenge, deep conversations, impeccable world-building, and the entire narrative as a whole that made GOT the great phenomenon it was. While the new trailer of House of the Dragon is quite promising, it still has big shoes to fill in.

Also, you don't really need to have any knowledge of 'Game of Thrones' to watch this new show. So if you haven't seen GOT (you should have, what are you doing) yet, you can surely enter this fantastical world with this show. The best part is, George R.R. Martin approves of the new show. In his blog a few days back, he wrote, “I’ve now watched rough cuts of nine of the ten episodes, and I continue to be impressed,” He also wrote that the makers have made the story even better than the original. The show is set to be released on August 21, 2022. Here is the trailer-
