Ghaziabad: On August 15, 2022, the Sanskritik Kala Sangam Samiti, a association affiliated with the Crossings Republik Cultural Committee, will organize a 'Crossing Freedom Run' for the residents of Crossings republik. The idea is to make the residents participate in the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi marking the country's 75th Independance Day.
According to Kshitiz Singal, a member of the Sanskritik Kala Sangam Samiti, people from all across the township celebrate Independence Day enthusiastically every year. As of now, 250 members have already enrolled. Registration will remain open till August 7, 2022. Anyone between the age group of of 8 to 55 can take part in this marathon.
The starting point of the marathon will be Glass Gate, Crossings Republik. During the marathon, the Chowki in charge of the Crossings Republik police station and the traffic police will make additional road arrangements.
Participating societies include Saviour Greenside, Gardenia Square 1, Mahagum Mascot, Preeminent Symphony, Cosmos Golden Height, GH 7crossing Republic, Gaur Global Village, Saviour IRIS, Supertech Livingston, Prateek The Royal Cliff, and Sushant Aquapolis.
