Prateek Laurel- Women gather to get mehndi done on Karwa Chauth eve

Henna or Mehendi is an important part of the solah singaar observed by ladies on Karwa Chauth. Preparing for the grand event at Karva Chauth, more than 50 ladies in Prateek laurel society, sector 120, Noida, visited the community centre the day before Karva Chauth to have Mehndi applied to their hands.

The festival of Karwa Chauth has arrived in all its beauty and bright lights. Today, several women across Delhi NCR would fast for the health of their husbands. With the Covid cloud past us, there is a new wave of festivities upon us.

Prabhat Vats, RWA president of Prateek Laurel and other members have made several preparations for Karwa Chauth rituals in the society. Ladies of the society would gather at the society temple and participate in thali rotation and other rituals.
