Dwarka: District Magistrate (DM) South West, Hemant Kumar, IAS, and SDM Dwarka, Vinay Kumar Mongia invited the All Dwarka Residents Federation (ADRF) team for an extensive interaction session at the SDM office premises today, November 11, 2022, at 11 am. The meeting was held to discuss inputs to boost, regulate and upgrade E-Mobility infrastructure, last-mile connectivity, parking, and several issues related to the sub-city.

Rakesh Swami, Vice President of ADRF says that the agenda of the meeting with DM was to discuss the solutions to traffic conjunction and parking problems. Also, how to install an EV charging station in a planned manner inside the societies.

Moreover, the issue of connectivity was a major highlight of the meeting. ADRF highlighted the importance of increasing the connectivity in Dwarka so that people can reach metro stations on time and without difficulties.

Ajit Swami, President of ADRF says, "As learnt, the government wants to use metro stations as feeder stations too. So, they are planning to deploy some electric buses. We decided on the routes for these buses so that maximum societies in Dwarka can be covered."

He further stated, "This will be the initiative of DMRC and ADRF is helping them in deploying them. These buses will run on particular routes after discussion. We have been instructed to present data on which societies to include and daily timings after discussing so that maximum residents are benefitted."

The meeting took place in the presence of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and traffic officials who provided a perspective of ongoing groundwork being undertaken, including representative sample surveys from a cross-section of the Dwarka populace.
