Delhi's Chandni Chowk witnessed a sleepless night as a massive fire was reported at the iconic electronics market Bhagirat Palace on November 24, 2022. Although no casualties have been reported, a major part of the building has been destroyed in the fire. Over 50 shops were gutted. With hundreds of firefighters deployed since last night, it took nearly 12 hours to control the flames.
As gathered, the narrow lanes of Chandni chowk made it difficult for firefighters to reach the spot. After more than half a day, a cooling operation is still underway at the Bhagirat Palace. Here are stills taken on Friday afternoon at the spot-
