Delhi AQI turns 'Very Poor', recorded at 366

After a marginal improvement, the air quality of Delhi has turned 'Very Poor' over the past few days. The capital reported an AQI of 366 at 7 am on December 1, 2022.  As gathered by weather departments, the prevalence of calm winds is causing the accumulation of pollutants in the air. Moreover, it is predicted that AQI will remain very poor over the next two days.

Around 11:46 am, the AQI was 'Very Poor' at various stations of New Delhi as per data provided by the Central Pollution Control Board and Delhi Pollution Control Board. It was 379 at ITO, 363 at Mandir Marg, 373 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, 356 at Pusa, West Delhi and 351 at Sirifort.

An AQI between 0-50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 ”satisfactory”, 101 and 200 as “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 as “very poor” and over 400 “severe”.
