Greater Noida- Gas supply disrupted across societies as IGL Pipeline bursts

Greater Noida- More than 50,000 families of Greater Noida West faced problems as the domestic gas supply was suddenly cut in many societies on Thursday, December 2, 2022. Domestic gas (PNG) supply to Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) stopped in Greater Noida. According to information received from IGL, a gas pipeline burst near Surajpur town of Greater Noida.

As gathered, residents kept calling the customer care of the consumer company continuously. Thereafter, customer care informed them that the gas supply was affected in the entire Greater Noida. The gas supply was restarted by the technical team of the IGL team after about two hours.

Due to the shutdown of the gas supply late Thursday evening, various avenues of Gaur City One Two, Sector 16 B & C Society, Galaxy North Avenue, Fusion Homes Society, Spring Meadows Society, Panchsheel Greens 1, Paramount Emotions, La Residents in Residency, Samruddhi Grand Avenue, Palm Olympia, Nirala Greenshire Society, Casa Green Society, French Apartments, Devika Gold, Nirala Estate among others faced trouble.
