Dwarka: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Najafgarh Zone on December 9, 2022, organised a programme regarding Swachh Survekashan 2023. The programme was organised to aware people of cleanliness and the three important R's which are Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. All the representatives of RWAs & Market associations of Dwarka were invited to the programme. The programme was organised at MCD Community Centre, Dwarka Sector 23.

Ex-Mayor & newly elected MCD Councillor of Dwarka B ward, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, and Para Athlete Vikas Dagar were present as special invitees. Indian athlete Bhagwani Devi Dagar and Indian playback singer Maithili Thakur were present there as chief guests. Maithili Thakur mesmerised the audience with her special musical performance at the event. Anil Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, MCD Najafgarh Zone was also present to welcome the guests. School children and teachers also performed a nukkad natak through which, they made people of the importance of the environment and about 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Kamaljeet Sehrawat, while addressing the residents of Dwarka, promised that Dwarka will become number one in the race for cleanliness.
Vikas Dagar, a Para Athlete and a special invitee at the event, says "Awareness is very important, and when people will start making efforts to keep their surroundings clean and to save the environment, the picture will surely change one day. So, I say that people should start with keeping their surroundings clean."
