Dwarka: Painting competition organised in Chitrakoot Dham Apartments

Dwarka: To let the inner Picasso of kids out and let their creativity reflect on canvas, a painting competition was organised in Chitrakoot Dham Apartments, Dwarka, Sector 19 on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The competition was or1ganized by CitySpidey and was presented by Rising Stars School and Daycare. The event was co-sponsored by Madhavbaug and Bhagat Hospital.

The program started at 12:30 pm and had 35 participants. The kids from kindergarten to class XII participated in the competition. The kids had to draw on the themes of environment and warriors of India and they certainly did their best. The kids not only drew paintings but also presented a dance performances for the audience. A kid named Jaya Sharma gave a Kathak dance performance and mesmerised everyone.

To make the event successful, Shikha Mittal, a resident of Chitrakoot Dham Apartments, Dwarka and an active member of the management team of the society lend a helping hand. She helped to organise and execute the program in a successful manner. The competition was judged by Rashmi Malhotra, a renowned artist and a resident of Chitrakoot Dham Apartments. Janvi Yadav (14) won the first prize, Prianik Jain (9) won the second prize and Veronica Khandelwal (9) won the third prize in the competition. Apart from the winners, consolation prizes were also distributed to everyone to appreciate their efforts.

An free eye and health check-up camp was also organized by Bharat Hospital in association with the CitySpidey for the audience which almost all the attendees availed.
