Dwarka: ‘Composting workshop’ organised at Happy Home Apartments, Sector 7

Dwarka: To make community aware, a ‘composting workshop’ was organised at Happy Home Apartments, Sector 7 by Rise Foundation. residents of the society were made aware about how to segregate wet waste and solid waste and how to go for home and community composting.

Madhuri Varshney and Madhukar Varshney from Rise Foundation made the presentation with data to show the importance of waste management and composting to save environment.

Sarita Rajput, secretary, Happy Home Apartments, told CitySpidey that the society would promote proper waste segregation and composting. Door to door awareness at source level would be the focus and soon things come on the ground. “We want proper segregation of waste done at each household. We will be monitoring things and try to make it successful,” she added.
