The Gautam Budh Nagar Development Committee recently met with Tejpal Nagar, MLA of Dadri Assembly, to discuss various problems in Greater Noida West and seek solutions. During the meeting, committee members including Rashmi Pandey, Anamika, Simmi, Sarita Verma, Ruchi, Priyanka, Swapnil, Veena and Anjali raised concerns about several issues.
Rashmi Pandey, President of the Gautam Budh Nagar Vikas Samiti, highlighted the increasing dirt in the green belt, lack of tree cutting and watering, and disappearance of tree guards in the city. The greenery of the Greater Noida West logo is also deteriorating due to a lack of maintenance. The committee requested that the Greater Noida Authority take action to address these issues.
The committee also raised concerns about the lack of speed breakers on the service line in Greater Noida West, which has resulted in accidents involving pedestrians and animals. Despite repeated complaints to the Greater Noida Authority, no action has been taken. Most of the incidents occur near Ek Murti Chowk.
Additionally, there is no cremation ground in Greater Noida West, which has caused problems for the increasing population. The committee requested that the Greater Noida Authority fulfil its previous resolution to build a cremation ground in the area.
Finally, residents have been demanding multi-point connections in high-rise societies, but builders and the electricity department have colluded to prevent the removal of single connections. This has resulted in expensive electricity prices for residents.
In response, MLA Tejpal Nagar pledged to hold talks with the Greater Noida Authority to address these issues and find solutions.
