Department's misunderstanding leaves residents in lurch in Noida

Noida: The power supply to the children's park in Noida sector 51 has been disconnected by the Noida Power Station due to unpaid dues, according to power department officials. However, the Noida authority claims that they have already paid all their bills and no dues are pending on their end. As a result, residents are suffering due to the disagreement between these two departments. Children and elderly people are at risk of getting hurt since the park is not getting enough light to play in, and residents are forced to walk in the darkness since Tuesday.

The power department officials stated that the February bill amounting to 12.73 lakhs was due. However, the Noida authority officers say they have cleared all the dues and are sending payment receipts to the power supply department. They assure us that the power supply to the park will be restored soon.
