Greater Noida: In Greater Noida, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl residing in Block C of Sector Beta 1 was bitten by a stray dog in multiple places while playing. The girl's father was sitting outside the door at the time and ran to save her as soon as he noticed the attack. However, the dog had already dragged the girl away. Fortunately, the father was able to rescue her from the stray dog. The girl's grandmother reported that if the father had not been present, the incident could have been much worse.
The girl's father suffered injuries while trying to fight off the stray dog. The girl's mother shared that the incident has left their daughter traumatized and scared to interact with anyone. Unfortunately, stray dogs have been attacking children and elderly people in this sector for some time now.

Shubham Kumar, a resident of Beta 1, highlighted that the Greater Noida authorities have been made aware of the stray dog problem numerous times, but concrete steps have yet to be taken. Whenever the authorities attempt to take action and relocate the stray dogs outside the sector, animal lovers protest against it, making it difficult to address the problem effectively.
The residents of Sector Beta 1 are living in fear due to the aggressive behavior of the stray dogs. The elderly, children, and women are especially vulnerable to these attacks. As a result, people are avoiding going to the park, and the situation has become a significant problem in the area. It is crucial for the authorities to take prompt action to address the issue and ensure the safety of the residents.
