Community people from across Dwarka planted saplings in a plantation drive organised by All Dwarka Resident Federation (ADRF) and Bharatiyam NGO in association with DDA Horticulture department.

Plantation was carried out in the Master Plan Green Area of DDA in Sector 11. About ine hundred saplings of native plants such as Arjun, Pilkhan, Peepal, Goolar, Moulshree, Tota Jaani, Kadamb were planted in the green area.
Vice president of ADRF, Aman Bhandari who was instrumental in the drive said, “ADRF and Bharatiyam NGO member SS Josan had proposed the idea of plantation to DDA. I worked out the entire logistics, green area preparation, availability of water, etc. with DDA Horticulture department. Deputy Director, Horticulture, DDA SK Meena encouraged us and supported for the cause.”
