Dwarka: Senior citizens of Dwarka enjoyed the songs of their era at a musical evening organised on Thursday in the DDA park behind Sadbhavana Apartments Sector 22. The event was organised by Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi (SDKS) Sanstha, a social organisation of senior citizens in collaboration with Dwarka Kala Sargam (DKS), a community group of singers. Passionate singers from the community of Dwarka performed the golden era songs and mesmerised the audience.
President of SDKS, SS Mann said, "The idea was to entertain our members and public visiting the park at large. Joginder Malik, one of our members, conceptualised this idea while celebrating the birthday of one of our members at the newly constructed sun and rain shelter in the park. Promila Malik president DKS consented and promised to execute this idea and we organised such a wonderful evening for seniors."

The event was anchored by Sashi Jain from DKS and singers from DKS such as Promila Malik, R K Jain, Jaya Laxmi, Ritu Dogra, Azad sang songs . S R Nimesh, Anil Upadhyay, Joginder Malik, Dr Tewari, Dr Vijay Kapoor, etc from SDKS also performed in the event. Sashi Kohli and others in the gathering mesmerised the audience with their dance performances on the songs as well.
Many visitors to the park also joined the program and appreciated the efforts of SDKS for arranging the event and enjoyed the old memories of the golden era songs of 50s and 60s.
