Dwarka Forum meets Councillor Kamaljeet Sehrawat to discuss civic issues

Dwarka: A team of  governing body members of Dwarka Forum met Kamaljeet Sehrawat the area Councillor of  MCD Ward, Dwarka B on Sunday 2 April 2023, at her office in Ambrahi Village, Dwarka. The team met the Councillor to draw her attention towards different civic issues in the area.

Sushil Kumar, President of Dwarka Forum (DF) lead the team handed over a representation to Sehrawat enlisting  important issues pertaining to Dwarka Sub City which needs MCD’s  attention. DF members also discussed about handover – take over subjects like roads, horticulture etc between DDA & MCD. Also the issues like cleanliness, garbage segregation, stray animals etc. were discussed. Some other issues under the jurisdiction of other civic bodies like DDA were also put in front of the Councillor . Water logging, requirement of a Nodal Officer, coordination meeting between MCD & DDA, and   dead trees inclined dangerously towards main roads were some of those issues discussed.

President of Dwarka Forum, Sushil Kumar said, “Though she is officially representing Dwarka B as a Councillor in the Corporation yet was found well aware of all the issues of entire Dwarka and she is coordinating for the development of all sectors of Dwarka. She encouraged us to have more such meetings.”  

From  Dwarka Forum the meeting was attended by  Sushil Kumar,  Mahesh Tak,,  Anjana Sinha, Archita Sinha,   Anurag Mohan, Sunil Dutt and   P Menon.
