Noida Authority Team and Chartered Accountants Association Emerge Victorious

Noida: The Noida authority is celebrating its 48th Foundation Day, and as part of the celebrations, they organized a 4-day sports competition that started on April 14 and will end on April 18.

On April 14, the cricket competition was inaugurated at 7:30 am by AK Singh, Secretary of Noida Sports Council, who tossed the coin. The first match was between Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) and Chartered Accountants Association (CAA). UPPCL won the toss and chose to field first.

Team Chartered Accountants Association (CAA) set a target of 141 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 over. In the second half of the game, the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) team got all out after scoring 133 runs in 19.4 overs while chasing the target of 141. Pawan Chauhan, a member of the Chartered Accountants Association (CAA) team, won the Man of the Match award.

There was another cricket match that was played between the Noida Authority team and the team of doctors. The match started at 2 pm, and after winning the toss, the Noida Authority elected to bat first. The team managed to set a target of 153 runs, losing all their wickets in their quota of 20 overs. In response, the team of doctors got all out in just 15.3 overs, scoring only 109 runs while chasing the target of 153. NariLohia, a player in the Noida Authority team, was declared the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
Several notable personalities, including former NEA President Rajkumar Chaudhary, Nishant Kumar Singh, Mohit Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, and players of both teams, were present at the event. The cricket match was a great way to celebrate the Foundation Day of the Noida Authority and promote sportsmanship among its residents.
