Indefinite Strike of Ghaziabad’s Saviour Park Society’s Residents Continues

Ghaziabad: Residents of Saviour Park Society in Ghaziabad, along with the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) members, have been on an indefinite strike since Friday. The strike is in response to their demands not being met, despite four days of peaceful protests.

According to a resident, some progress has been made over the last four days, but their primary demand still needs to be fulfilled.

Kanchan Arora, Vice President of the AOA for the Saviour Park Society, confirmed that they are still on strike, as neither the administration nor the police has provided any assistance. The only representative to have approached them so far is from the builder's office, which has not offered any written solutions regarding the issue of the illegal gate and commercial shops.

Sandeep Verma, another resident, reported that senior citizens and children have now joined the strike. He also pointed out that stray dogs in society have attacked children and senior citizens in the past.

The residents are now taking all necessary safety measures for COVID, as mandated by Section 144.
