The 76th Cannes Film Festival is going on from May 16 to May 27 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes. This year, Ruben Östlund has been serving as the jury president. It is noteworthy to mention that last year, India was honoured as the official Country of Honor at the Marché du Film, held in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival.
Various Indian personalities are present in the Cannes International Film Festival 2023. Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar and content creator Dolly Singh attended the prestigious event on the very first day and attracted everyone with their fashion choices and appearances.
Sara Ali Khan made her Cannes debut in an exquisite ivory lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She embraced her ethnic side with a traditional look, wearing a pastel blouse with silver embroidery and a plunging neckline. Sara paired it with a long and flowy white skirt adorned with ethnic designs, complemented by a matching dupatta and white embellishments.
Manushi Chhillar, the former Miss World, also made her first appearance at Cannes. She wore a stunning white wedding gown by Fovari, which she accessorized with strappy neon heels and a striking necklace, adding a touch of drama to her look.

Actress Esha Gupta attended the opening ceremony and premiere of the film 'Jeanne du Barry.' She wore a white gown with a thigh-high slit, exuding elegance and style. As a part of the Indian government team, she participated in various festival activities and represented India at the event.
Anushka Sharma, known for her love of black, made her Cannes debut this year. She opted for a sleeveless black gown with a round neckline, daring double thigh-high slits, a tight waist, and a floor-sweeping train. Anushka accessorized her look with a Bulgari dramatic neckpiece, diamond rings, killer high heels, a sleek chignon hairdo, and minimal makeup, creating a striking red carpet appearance.
In addition to the glamour and fashion, Anurag Kashyap's movie "Kennedy" was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, adding to the excitement and diversity of the event.
