The four-days long camp, which is being held at the park in Sector 120, will continue till Tuesday.
With an aim to spread awareness about the importance of yoga among the residents, a four-days long yoga camp is being organized at the park in Sector 120, Noida.
On Saturday, the residents of Prateek Laurel and Amrapali Zodiac – condominiums in Noida – participated in the first day of the camp in huge numbers. The yoga camp is being organized by the Bharatiya Yog Sansthan (Rohini branch) and will continue till May 21 (Tuesday).
Bhupinder Kaur, Noida district president of the Sansthan, said that participating in such camps promotes the idea of healthy lifestyle among the residents. “It helps in reducing stress, controlling blood sugar and improves blood circulations in the body. Considering these benefits, this camp has been organized for the residents. It will continue for the next three days, so that people can participate in huge numbers,” she informed.
Meanwhile, the residents seemed to be really enjoying the rejuvenating sessions. “There were experts teaching everyone about various yoga poses and how these poses can cure physical ailments and correct the alignment of the body. We all know the many benefits of yoga such as strengthening of bones and muscles, correcting the posture, improving breathing and increasing energy levels, which is the need of today’s generation,” said a resident of Prateek Laurel.
