'International Yoga Day' was celebrated with huge turn up at the Noida Stadium on Friday morning. Hundreds of participants performed different asanas with all excitement. The new-found passion for Yoga among residents was on full display.
The chief guests on the occasion were MP Dr Mahesh Sharma, MLA Pankaj Singh and Femina Miss India 2014, Koyal Rana. Apart from the arrangements for 2500 residents, there were also arrangements for differently-abled people.
The event started at 6.30 am and continued till 8.30 am. People from several high rises in the city participated in the event. Many Resident Welfare Association (RWA) members were also present on the occasion. The event also saw participation from senior citizens, women and children.
