Over 100 families reside in Imperia Esfera, a residential project launched in Gurugram, in the year 2012.
Residents of Imperia Esfera, a high-rise in Gurugram's Sector 37C, on Sunday protested in front of the maintenance office of the society, demanding fulfillment of promises made by the builder at the time of possession.
During the protest, the aggrieved flat owners raised slogans against the builder for providing poor services. They raised several issues related to maintenance, demanding a prompt action in this regard.
One of the protestors said, “Despite witnessing two major mishaps recently, the maintenance team of the society is not bothered to look into the matter and correct the fire safety mechanism. The management charges an exorbitant amount of money in the name of maintenance yet the services provided are pathetic!"
“Also, security is a major concern here. The arrangements are so bad that we are forced to live under utter inconvenience,” he added.
“The builder gave us false hopes of developing power infrastructure and providing electricity on the government rate. However, he is still to make efforts towards it. We have to still rely on diesel generator sets which contribute to severe air and noise pollution. It is a serious issue and we expect a quick resolution on this,” another resident said.
