The incident was reported around 8 am, after a heated argument with parents, the youth allegedly jumped off from the high-rise.

A 27-year-old youth died after allegedly jumping off the 7th floor of Mahagun Mascot, a high-rise in Crossings Republik, on Tuesday morning.

Police identified the deceased as Tapneel Singh, who was employed with a Noida based private firm. He was staying with his family at a rented accommodation, the RWA officials informed.

The incident was reported around 8 am, after a heated argument with his parents, the youth allegedly took the leap in a fit of rage. 

Immediately, his parents rushed him to Vrindavan Hospital where he was declared brought dead. 

Police told that the deceased was in the state of depression. "The man jumped after a quarrel with his parents," said Shyamveer Singh, SHO Vijayanagar, Police Station.

The police has sent the body for the postmortem.
