The district fee regulatory committee of Gautam Buddh Nagar has convened a meeting of parents and management of self-financed private schools to review the implementation of orders it had issued to some schools with regard to fees. The committee had issued the orders on fee structure during an earlier meeting.
According to an intimation letter issued to the management of the schools, the review meeting will take place on October 4 at district magistrate's camp office in Sector 27, Noida.
The committee informed the management of the schools, against whom the complaints were made, to give details of the fees collected during the past three academic sessions.
It also asked them to share details of salary given to teachers and fee collected from a student, whose parents registered complaint against excessive fee.
The committee categorically asked the management of respective schools to come with compliance report of the previous orders given to the management of different schools during the meeting held in August.
The committee was set up look into matter of complaint by parents regarding collection of excessive fees and also violation of rules. It has already imposed hefty fines on several private schools operating in Noida and Great Noida.
