Two days after the festivities wrapped up in Delhi-NCR, the bridge near Kalindi Kunj from Noida towards Delhi has become a dumping site for the materials used in Visarjan, Hawan and Puja.
The side of the bridge was littered with plastic bags, flower petals and other puja materials. Despite Delhi government prohibiting immersing Durga idol in Yamuna river, devotees still found a way to dump puja materials near the area. Plastic bags were not only strewn around, but were tied on the railings of the bridge also.
