Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Sector 51 on Tuesday distributed gifts and sweets to entire sanitatary staff deployed by Noida Industrial Development Authority and on-duty security guards in the locality as post Deepavali commemoration.
While distributing the gifts, the RWA urged everyone to stop using plastic and apprised them about the significance of maintaining cleanliness.
The gifts distributed on the occasion are steel sets each consisting of five steel utensils.
Sanjeev Kumar, general secretary of the RWA, said that they made an appeal to the sanitary workers, security guards and members of managing committee to make sincere efforts towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
He said as the Swachhata Sarvekshan 2020 was drawing closer, they should make extra effort to maintain cleanliness to improve Noida's ranking in the survey. He also appreciated the support extended by the Noida Authority to the RWA for maintenance of cleanliness.
