Indirapuram: After the Supreme Court relaxed the ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) decided to undertake repair of the damaged road in front of DPS Indirapuram in Ahinsa Khand II.
Construction of the road, planned in November, was shelved due to the blanket ban on construction activities which was in effect since November 4.

AK Choudhary, Executive Engineer of the GDA in Indirapuram, said that the authority would build a black top road after repairing the damaged portions.
In August, a 20-25 meter portion of the road caved in due to heavy downpour. The authority had plugged the cave-in but the road remained damaged leading to waterlogging and traffic jams.
