Gurugram: Amid the Covid-19 situation, the members of Sudha (Society for Upliftment and Development of Human Beings by Action) Society held a webinar to mark the celebration of Hindi Diwas and Women Empowerment on Monday in Gurugram.

The event was organised by Dr Kirti Bajpai, Psychologist Counsellor and Executive Director of Women Empowerment Cell, Sudha Society. Nutan Vasistha, Founder of Katha Rang joined the virtual celebration as the chief guest.

While interacting with the audience, CEO of Sudha Society Dr RK Arya spoke about importance of Hindi language and elaborated his work in the field of women empowerment. During the celebration, he urged everyone to take initiative and write to the Prime Minister to make Hindi as the national language of the country.

The members of Sudha Society recited poems and sung songs to commemorate Hindi Diwas. GK Bhatnagar, President of Sudha Society made aware about the significance of Hindi language and urged everyone to make an effort to learn and encourage others to embrace Hindi language.

On the occasion, Nutan Vasistha informed about the contribution done by Indian women in Hindi literature. She encouraged the young generation to take pride in using Hindi as a medium of communication and how women can empower themselves using Hindi as a language. 

“Hindi will progress and can become the top most spoken language of the world if we start speaking with each other at home and keeping ourselves updated with other languages,” she said.
