Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s Covid-19 tally crossed the mark of 12,000 with 192 fresh cases on Thursday, pushing the district’s infection count to 12,010, according to the official data.
The day also saw recoveries of 109 patients, bringing the district’s overall recoveries to 10,261 with a recovery rate of 85.43 per cent. It slightly dipped from 85.91 per cent on Wednesday. It was 81.18 per cent on last Thursday, the data showed.
The number of active cases in the district increased to 1,699 from 1,615 on Wednesday, while the death toll counted to 50.
The fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.41 per cent, better from 0.42 per cent on the previous day.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,674 new cases, pushing the state’s infection count to 3,74,277, while the death toll rose to 5,366 as 68 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 61,300 active cases, while, 3,07,611 patients have been recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 82.18 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.43 per cent.
