Noida: Residents of Civitech Sampriti, a highrise in Sector 77, Noida, would shortly be relieved from a mosquito breeding ground as the Noida Authority has made a solution to the problem.
It has constructed a drain to channelise the water that was being flooded in the open area outside the society's boundary wall. It was also causing huge inconvenience and unhygienic conditions for residents.
According to an official with the authority, the development work has already been completed on the site. They would now be covered with cemented slabs.
The authority is also planning to turn the space as green belt as it was originally marked for the same. Officials said they will carry out plantations of saplings and free grasses at vacant space.
One of them said, “The construction work has been completed and now the beautification and plantation work would be carried out on the plot.”
Earlier, the residents were constantly complaining against the unhygienic conditions caused at the open areas. It was mosquito breeding ground and caused health issues for them as well.
Now, the authority has removed weeds and grasses for placing saplings and plantations.
