Noida: The much coveted and most awaited annual running festival of Delhi, Annual Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) 2020 was organised on Sunday. In view of the ongoing pandemic, the run was organised with due precautions.
About 40 participants, including men and women runners from Xpress Way Runners (XWR), as it is popularly known among its members, took part in the event held in Noida.
The group boasts of nearly 200 members who are passionate about running and tend to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Himanshu Bisht and Kalpana Deka Saha finished first in the men's and women's category striking a finish time of 1:37 hrs and 1:45 hrs respectively.
Also, members of the Joggers and Walkers Club (JWC) in Noida participated in this event in their respective geographies. JWC is a group of almost 5,000 runners, cyclists and fitness enthusiasts all over the world.
The runners dedicated this event to the Covid warriors and all those involved in or affected by the pandemic.
