New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 4,906 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,66,648. The number of new cases reported came out of 64,186 tests conducted on the previous day.

Of which, 29,839 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 34,347 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 7.64 per cent.

68 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,066. 89 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 98 on Friday, 91 on Thursday, 99 on Wednesday and 109 on Tuesday.

6,325 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,22,491 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 92.20 per cent.

The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Sunday. Active cases declined by 1,487 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 35,091 active cases.

Out of the total 18,661 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,418 are vacant.
