Brick, plaster fall incident reported from Supertech Capetown

Noida: An incident of brick and plaster fall was reported on Tuesday from Supertech Capetown, a residential highrise society in Sector 74, Noida.

The owner of flat number 1904 in CS 12 Tower, Rupesh lives in the flat along with his wife and daughter. He was out of the flat with his daughter when a large chunk of plaster fell from the ceiling  in the lift lobby at around 11 am. It fell near him.

After the incident, the families of Rupesh and Kabir Chatterjee, who live in adjacent flats, are in shock. They are worried after the incident.

They reported the incident to AOA President Arun Sharma through his neighbour Gaurav Santhalia. Capetown President has asked the builder to do inspection of the construction and take necessary measures.

Along with this, information about the incident was also sent through email to the Chief Executive Officer, Noida; District Magistrate; and Police Commissioner so that the quality of construction should be checked and rectified. Two similar incidents took place on May 12 and 18, in  CG1 and CMC 2 towers.

AOA President, Arun Sharma said, “To avoid any kind of loss of life and property, the authority will have to take prompt action including the forensic audit of Capetown and remove the shortcomings of construction without any delay, otherwise the authority, government, and builder will have to take responsibility for any major accident.”

CitySpidey also tried to contact the builder but he did not reply.
