The road for which the residents have written the letter
Noida: The buyers of the builder of Elite Golf Greens, Sector 79, Noida have written a letter to Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer, Noida Authority regarding the road in front of the Elite Golf Green society. According to the residents, unavailability of the main road is causing frequent traffic jams and also posing a great risk to the life of commuters. The residents said they want to shift into their new flats which are almost ready but the unavailability of the main road terrifies them. According to them, it would be extremely difficult for public transports like school buses, auto-rickshaws etc. to stop at their doorstep.
CitySpidey went to the location to get more details. Sanwarjeet Singh, a resident of Gaur Sportswood in Sector 79, who commutes daily from this road said, "I use this road every day to reach my office. About 50 metres of this road is a single lane and the rest of the road is a double lane till Hanuman Murti. Due to this, every day there is a traffic jam and congestion. I have witnessed instances where the vehicles keep colliding with each other. If someone is riding on this route for the first time, then a little negligence may lead to an accident as the vehicle can fall in a crater".
Residents who are planning to move to Elite Golf Green Apartments said they commute daily from this route as it is a common road connecting to Delhi, Dadri Road, Barola and Bhangel. CitySpidey talked to these residents of Elite Golf Green apartments to know their concerns.
Raj Kumar Batra, who has bought a flat in Elite Gold Green Apartments said, "The state of the road in front of Elite Golfgreen, Sector 79, Noida is one of the most ignored subjects of Noida Authority. For the last one year, we have been consistently writing to all concerned government authorities, but no action has been taken till now. We are soon going to shift in this society but watching this road condition makes us worried. We have witnessed many accidents on the road, we have seen bike drivers falling to adjoining agricultural land. The evenings are the worst part of the day because of the traffic. Imagine what will happen when this new society will be full of all the residents".
"This is the main road which is used by many people of Noida as it connects to Delhi. We are going to shift into our new apartments at the end of this year. There is no proper road here, we are forced to use the service lane only. There is continuous heavy traffic on this single service road day and night. It will be difficult for the school buses to pick and drop the children once the schools are opened. It is not going to be easy to enter or exit society on this road. We have gone to the authorities as well as the builder of the society but no solution till now", said Kamaldeep, a future resident of Elite Gold Green Apartments.
