Noida: The residents of 7X sectors in Noida are facing a lot of problems due to pothole-ridden roads. They said that the state of roads has been bad for a long time and they have no option but to endure bumpy rides whenever they come out of their societies.
There are many societies in the 7X sector like Civitech Stadia, Gaur Sportswood and Mahagun Mirabella. The residents of these apartments shared their concerns about the bad state of roads and requested the authority to take the required action.
On Wednesday, a resident of Gaur Sportswood in Sector 79, Sanwarjeet Singh, tweeted, “The intersection near Civitech Stadia has many potholes on the road, which is very dangerous for the commuters. We request Noida Authority to take immediate action on it.”
@CeoNoida @CPCB_OFFICIAL @myogiadityanath @PMOIndia @PankajSinghBJP pic.twitter.com/09EfJNWbrq— Sanwarjeet Singh (@jeetsanwar) August 18, 2021
CitySpidey talked to Singh to know about his concerns, he said, “The potholes at sectors 79 and 116 junctions are not safe for riders, especially during nights and rainy season. Life-threatening accidents can occur at any time. There is also a long stretch in front of Civitech Stadia and Mahagun Mirabella which has no speed breaker.”
Another resident of Gaur Sportswood, Sharad Singh said, “The road that I and fellow residents of my society have to take every single day in routine is in a very bad condition. From a resident's point of view, super-sharp turn without speed breakers and a considerably huge crater-like dent have more than enough potential to be life-threatening.”
He continued, “Even the school buses take the same route. Small accidents on the road are more than common, but I have also witnessed one that wasn't so minor. A bike completely lost balance and tumbled to the ground, severely injuring the woman on the bike. Ignoring the risky state of the road will only invite danger.”
