Dwarka: It is nothing short of a roller coaster ride for commuters driving on the roads of Sector 10, Dwarka. The entire stretch leading from Sector 10 market to metro station lane of Sector 10, Dwarka, has become unsafe for people to travel and is giving nightmares to the residents and commuters because of potholes and bad roads.
The monsoon comes with many challenges as the situation of roads becomes worse and the water fills inside the pothole making it more difficult for the commuters to discover the depth of the pothole.
However, the authorities have turned a deaf ear to their complaints. The particular spot is on one of the busiest roads of Dwarka which is used by big and large vehicles alike. The place is so prominent that anyone can witness the potholes.
Ankush Sharma, a commuter, said, “This is indeed shocking! While there are so many agencies working on different aspects of infrastructure maintenance, nobody has bothered to repair it. It is in fact one of the busiest roads.”
A rickshaw puller, Ramesh Kumar who frequently commutes through the road said, “We find it difficult to commute on this road. Due to rains, the potholes get filled with water. With this, the potholes become invisible. The road is accident-prone. It should be repaired soon.”
Commuters face difficulty getting through this pothole. CitySpidey is trying to attract the attention of the authorities to take the matter into concern and make the roads safe for commuters.
