Go plastic-free initiative by Dwarka Progressive Club

Dwarka: A beautiful initiative was started by Dwarka Progressive Club with an aim of plastic-free India. The campaign started on October 2 and will continue till October 31. This Diwali, everyone is encouraged to gift cloth and jute bags under this new initiative by Dwarka Progressive Club

Earlier as well, a cleanliness drive was organised in Studio Apartments, Sector 16, Dwarka under the same initiative.

RWA of the society, Urmila Sharma and Vinay Procha made the society's residents aware of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat dream, to make society garbage-free and plastic-free. Society's RWA and Dwarka Progressive Club would be holding such awareness campaigns till 31st October.

Urmila Sharma, President of Dwarka Progressive Club, said, “I want to see Dwarka clean, healthy and plastic-free, inhabited by dignified people in an empowered society and with this initiative, we want to take a small step to contribute to our environment.”
