Dwarka: Pump it up at these parks

Winters are around the corner and the weather in Delhi has become really pleasant these days and you are not alone if the cool breeze during the wee-wee hours is tempting you to go out for morning  strolls. We have tried to complement this feeling by compiling a list  of beautiful parks in Dwarka that are perfect for your morning walks.

Dwarka DDA Park Sector-10

Sector 10 Park is probably the most widely known outdoor space in the neighbourhood whose vastness throngs people from all of Dwarka. It has a widespread green cover filled with trees and endemic species of birds that chirp musically in the background as you kickstart your mornings here.

Eco Tourist Park

Eco Tourist Park is one of the lesser-known outdoor spaces in Dwarka. It is located on the outskirts of the neighbourhood, not far from the infamous Najafgarh drain, and boasts cutesy gabled roof huts, a clubhouse, fish jetty and even an eatery. After your morning strolls, you can sip tea and much on breakfast dishes with a verdant view.

Dwarka DDA complex

Dwarka Sports Complex is a DDA-run facility that offers an infrastructure for an array of physical activities including badminton, table tennis, and swimming. The complex has several smaller parks in it, with amenities like a jogging track, an open gym, and a children's play area, which makes it an alluring place for people of all ages.

District park, Sector-19

Sector 19 district park is a walker's dream. It has a lush green landscape, marked with benches, and skirted by a jogging track which follows a zig-zag motion and veers into the wilderness at times. They also have an open gym for exercising.

DDA Park, Sector-5

This is one of the better-maintained parks in Dwarka with sprawling gardens, sheds for resting and a playground for the children at the back. People can be seen playing all kinds of sports here and during the sunset, the park offers a majestic vista of the scarlet red sky gleaming with the final rays of the day.

DDA Park, Sector-11
