Dwarka: RWA team of DDA SFS flats Sector 5, Dwarka had a review meeting with the area MLA Gulab Singh Yadav and the officials of civic agencies like Delhi Jal Board, Electrical Department, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, etc. The meeting was organised to discuss the civic issues pertaining in the society and to get their solution. The meeting was a follow-up of the meeting held last weekend in which the area MLA asked to visit the pocket again with the officials to discuss the issues in detail.

Mahesh Gupta, General Secretary RWA said, “MLA  asked concerned engineers of SDMC civil department to prepare estimates for all stormwater drains redevelopment . Besides, they were also asked to prepare the estimate for repairing the damaged boundary wall and putting up barbed wires on that.  Also RMC of leftover road from flat no 168 to 271 was said to be repaired and for that too estimate to be made by the engineering department.”

As informed by Gupta, DJB officials were asked to resolve the water issue immediately. “A timeline of 15 days has been given to DJB officials. Also MLA agreed for sanctioning MLA funds for various developmental works of our pocket.”

Besides this, residents raised the issue of pruning/ trimming of trees. On this issue MLA suggested to approach SDMC councillor/ SDMC Horticulture department for processing the case for approval. He said once the file is processed by SDMC, he would try to pursue the forest department on priority.
