Spreading warmth- Dwarka Kalibari donates winter clothes to poor

Dwarka Kalibari, a social-religious organization in collaboration with Ngo PAHEL has placed a box for collecting old winter clothes in sector 12. These clothes will then be distributed among the poor people who can't afford the same.

Dwarka Kalibari always strives to serve the society we live in. PAHEL, as an organization, is also known to bring joy, and happiness among the underprivileged.

The organizers maintain that the clothes that you drop off should be washed and folded. These clothes shouldn't be torn or soiled.

Dwarka Kalibari has been involved with numerous different social responsibility campaigns. Kalibari had also conducted food distribution campaigns at different venues within Dwarka physically and also organized door to door distribution of sustenance during the peak of the pandemic.

Last year due to a pandemic, they could not collect or distribute clothes. However, with the pandemic subsiding to a certain extent, DKB has decided to start this campaign again. The clothes will be collected till 21 November 2021.

Mr Jayanta Ghosh, General Secretary, said, “As winter envelopes us,  let us ensure that we warm up not just ourselves, but also those who need it the most. If anyone wants to volunteer, they can come and visit  Kalibari Dwarka sector-12 and donate winter clothes for the needy.”
