Noida: A regular morning walk turned into a nightmarish experience for Anindya Lala, 57, a resident of  Mahagun Manor, Sector 50.

On the morning of November 29, Lala was on his way back home at around 7.30. He was just about 500 m away from his home, walking on the side of the main road when he was mugged at gunpoint by two miscreants on a bike. The incident took place near Stellar King Court society, Sector 50.

He shared the entire episode with City Spidey.  “Every morning I take my dog for a walk and I walk on the main road. I go early in the morning and come back around 7:30 am. On my way back home I noticed two individuals asking me to stop while shouting ‘Bhai  Sahab …bhaisaheb’. I stopped and saw the pillion rider walk up to me. He then shook hands with me. He asked me if I wanted to get rid of someone then they can do that job for me. I just replied that you are talking to the wrong person and tried to move on. It is at this point that they flashed a gun at me. They asked me to take off my three gold rings. They also checked if I had a gold chain on me or if I was carrying a phone. Not finding any of these things they sped off.”
