Greater Noida: Greater Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan reviewed a total of 1937 applications that were received from January 01 to January 21. He directed the officials to settle the online applications within the stipulated time and warned against delays in the disposal of applications.

Among the 1937 applications reviewed, 741 have been disposed of and work on 114 have been delayed over the stipulated time.

In view of the Corona crisis, the Greater Noida Authority is giving more emphasis on online services. Under this, allottees can apply online through the authority's website for No Dues, Mutation, Mortgage Permission, Change of Address, Updating KYA, Refund, Extension of Time, Lease Deed, Transfer Memorandum etc.

A total of 1937 applications were received related to services of all departments, such as builder, commercial, group housing, industries, institutional, IT and residential departments. Out of which 741 applications were disposed of whereas the work under 950 applications was under process. 144 complaints were such whose time limit for disposal has expired. CEO Narendra Bhushan expressed strong displeasure over not disposing of these applications within the stipulated time.

The CEO reviewed the pending applications department wise. An explanation was sought from the officers and employees responsible for not disposing of the applications within the stipulated time.

Instructions have been given to resolve these pending complaints at the earliest. The CEO has asked all the departments to dispose of all the online applications that come before the stipulated time. Along with this, the Authority officials are also making efforts to dispose of these applications within the stipulated time. Regular reports of applications of allottees for online services are also generated. The CEO has appealed to the residents of Greater Noida to adopt online facilities and avoid physical gathering at the office to check the spread of Coronavirus.

CitySpidey reached out to a few residents to know about how  they feel about the online portal of the Authority. 

Manish Kumar, Vice President NEFOWA says, "The online services which are provided by the Greater Noida Authority are quite good but the solutions are not enough to resolve the issues of the residents. The Authorities should take more active measures to resolve the problems of the residents 100 per cent." 

Annu Khan, President NEFOMA says, "The officials have responded on our problems via call or on Whatsapp, and on Twitter also. But when we send an official mail, we never get a call back from the the Authority's side. The Authority and CEO should work on this."
