GNIDA to provide online services to allottees after Aadhaar verification

Greater Noida: GNIDA (Greater Noida Industrial and Development Authority) has become the first authority in Uttar Pradesh to get permission for the Aadhaar verification of its allottees by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The process will help GNIDA to provide all the services online to its allottees.

The Greater Noida Authority is making efforts to provide every facility to all house owners in the comfort of their homes. The authority has also started online services like no dues certificate for the industrial sectors. However, it is very important for the authority to verify the identity of the right allottee to start such services before starting the online facility. This will ensure there is no scope for any kind of fraud.

Until now, the allottee used to come to Greater Noida Authority to get the physical verification done before selling the property and give their consent. After Aadhaar authentication, both buyer and seller won't have to come to the authority office for physical verification.

Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of Greater Noida Authority says, “Getting permission for Aadhaar authentication is a big relief for Greater Noida Authority  and alottees. Now the authority will be able to provide all the services online to its allottees. The allottees will also not have to come to the Greater Noida Authority office for any work related to their property. Efforts will be made to make all online services available to the allottees at the earliest.”

With Aadhaar verification, the authority will be able to ensure whether the property is being transferred through the correct allottee or not. Similarly, there are many services like Mortgage Permission, Lease Deed Permission, for which the allottee's verification is important and Aadhaar verification is the most efficient way.

The home buyers will be able to access all the facilities through the website of the Greater Noida Authority. On applying online, they will get a link from the authority. After the verification of the Aadhaar number and OTP, allottees will be able to access these services.

The online services which will be available on the GNIDA's websites are-

Building plan approval, water and sewer connection, functional certificate, no dues certificate, mortgage certificate, mortgage permit, map surrender certificate, address change, time extension of lease deed, one-time payment, time extension  of construction, duplicate to its allottees.
